High level lipid can be dangerous to your health. Blood containing fats in it is called as lipid. Protein joins with lipids in your blood to form lipoproteins. lipoproteins is very important for the cells in the body as they make energy for the body. the other name of lipoproteins is cholesterol. They are of three types that is high density cholesterol (HDL), low density cholesterol (LDL) and very low density cholesterol (vldl). High density cholesterol is called as good because it helps in building up the cholesterol in the arteries and low density cholesterol is called as bad, it is so because high low density cholesterol level can increase the risk of heart attact, failure or stroke.

Causes of high level of fats in bloodr
Researcher are of the view that there are two main causes of fats present in the blood. The two main causes are that problem can be in one person die to the reason of inherited disorder and the second main cause are that most of the people eat food that contains high fats in it which further resulted into high level of fats in the blood. Other main causes of high level of fats in blood are due to medical conditions like stress, diabetes, liver diseases, hypothyroidism, kidney diseases and alcoholism. People taking medicines such as blood pressure medicine, birth control pills and steroids, also causes high fats in the blood.

Signs of high cholesterol levelsr
It has been studied that there is no particular signs and symptoms of high cholesterol levels. You may not know that you are suffering from high cholesterol levels, without a blood test or heart attack or a stroke. It has been observed that people of high level lipid do have yellowish, fatty bumps on their skin.

Niaspan is a prescription medicine used for the treatment of high lipid level and deficiency of Vitamin B3. This medicine is most trusted and recommended by the doctor for the treatment. Niaspan is available in form of tablets and is available by both brand and generic name. There are few precautionary steps need to be kept in mind for the treatment. Do not make use of this medicine if you are allergic to this medicine or to its ingredients. People suffering from liver problem, kidney disease, heart disease and stomach ulcerations should not use Niaspan.

Do not increase or decrease the dose of the medicine on your own as it may lead to serious side effect. Take this medicine with a full glass of water. Use of this medicine in pregnant and breast feeding mother should be avoided as it may harm the health of the unborn baby or nursed child. Store this medicine at room temperature. Keep Niaspan in dry place away from light, heat and moisture. Keep this medicine away from the reach of the children and pet.
