Looking for a Luxurious Holiday Destination? Try the Four Seasons Country Club in the Algarve
Written by Michael Reilly
Located in the world renowned golfing resort of Quinta do Lago, the Four Seasons Country Club has been a popular holiday destination for many years. The resort itself is located in stunning gardens that are sure to impress even the non-golfers in your family. A club house is set in the centre of the activities but a variety of non-golfing attractions can also be found both inside the resort and in the nearby area. This makes the Four Seasons Country Club popular with all types of holiday makers and it is often booked up in full for months at a time.
Accommodation
The accommodation at the Four Seasons Country Club is completely luxurious and there are a selection of 1 bed, 2 bed, 3 bed and 4 bed apartments on offer. All of the apartments are traditionally Algarvian and come complete with white-washed walls and traditional Moorish architecture. Don’t let the exterior fool you into thinking that these are “normal” apartments however as the interiors are as luxurious as you would expect from such a prestigious resort.
Each apartment at the Four Seasons Country Club is completely fitted out with all the facilities that you would expect from a luxury self-catering holiday rental. All apartments come complete with a fitted kitchen, a spacious lounge and beautifully decorated bedrooms. The bathrooms are traditionally Portuguese but are effortlessly stunning and all apartments come with air conditioning/heating. Satellite television and a selection of entertainment facilities are also available in each apartment.
The Resort
The Four Seasons Country Club itself is just as luxurious and all of the apartments are nestled within sub-tropical, landscaped gardens. The clubhouse at the resort is impressive and includes two heated pools - indoor and outdoor, a Jacuzzi, a health and fitness centre and a gym. A number of restaurants and a bar are also available for guests who would like to enjoy a delicious meal without having to leave the resort. Children will love the children’s play area and the tennis courts in the club’s grounds are sure to be popular with young and old alike.
Quinta do Lago
The Four Seasons Country Club is located within the resort town of Quinta do Lago which is full of things for families to enjoy. Spend a day hiking through the national park land or take the family for a day on the beach. Of course the golf courses in the area shouldn’t really be ignored and if you are a keen golfer you will probably find yourself spending the majority of your time on the greens. It is fair to say that the Four Seasons Country Club is a great resort for all kinds of different holiday makers and its great reputation is only set to continue.
