You don’t need to complicate issues of fat loss too much. Sometimes people try to begin their attempts at dieting as an act of sheer desperation. Sometimes these attempts include nearly impossible willpower goals with rigid “can’t ever eat this,” or “don’t ever eat that” rules. Too many endless lists of “no no’s” can make dieting way too difficult. While change is good, you have to make a change in the right direction. A diet often starts with a few basic rules. A few simple changes can start the dieter on the road to real success in weight and fat loss. Here are 3 changes for beginning a fat loss diet. Remember the 3 Ws – more Water, less Wheat and less White. More Water rnYou should avoid sugary drinks like soda, and sweet tea, or even drinks with artificial sweeteners that aren’t healthy anyway. Instead, try to replace these drinks with water. Most people don’t even realize how many calories are in their drinks. Coffee, tea, lemonade, alcohol – all drinks add calories every day. You may not even realize how many! Remember, water is needed by every cell in the human body! Less Wheat rnYou should avoid foods that contain wheat as much as you can. When you replace them with water you also help your entire body one cell at a time since every cell needs water! Just check the label on breads, pasta, and just about anything you eat. If it has wheat, avoid eating that food as often as possible. You will lose weight if you lose wheat from your diet. Additionally, many people find that removing wheat from their diet helps their digestion immensely, since sensitivity to wheat is a common problem. Less White rnThe dieter who avoids “white” foods can count on a great start towards weight loss. Processed cheeses, white potatoes, white rice, white crackers and fried “white” foods are some items you can avoid to make the third change toward weight loss. However, foods like white meat poultry, white fish, white lentils, and beans, as well as cauliflower are naturally healthful white foods. Most of the processed, bleached, hulled and fried foods are not healthy at all. Choose your white food more carefully to lose weight. When you take these 3 small steps you have already begun a process that will assure success in your fat loss diet. It is not too complicated, and you can start on your journey toward your goal of being healthier than ever before! Just remember the 3 Ws: more Water, less Wheat, less White.
