MAKING THE BEST OUT OF YOUR WEBSITE

Whenever I visit a website, one of the first things I look at is the number of likes the website has. To me this is a measure of the website’s credibility. Surprisingly, that is the same thing that Google bots look at. Once a webpage has many Google+ votes or even facebook likes for example, the probability that Google will feature it higher on the search engines increases.

Once, I have this facebook page I rarely maintain besides checking on it occasionally. I was pleasantly surprised to receive notifications of people that like my page on daily basis. Note that I have done nothing to promote this page other than setting it up and spreading a few links. I also made sure I put in my key words in strategic places and that’s it. The likes just kept on coming without me having to buy facebook likes. Now, this is an exceptional case scenario from my point of view. Not everyone may be as lucky as I was.

This does not mean you should rush out there and create a facebook page that you won’t maintain. Doing that would be counter productive and might as well be wasting your precious time. When setting up a facebook page, it is important to analyze your purposes for setting up the page. If your purpose is to simply get fans, you might as well have kick started the whole process when you buy facebook fans. However, getting facebook fans should not be your sole purpose. You should learn to make your facebook page work with your website. Incorporate your facebook page into your website and vice versa. This will work in such a way that when visitors click your facebook fan page on your website, they will be invited to become fans. They will receive notifications on any of your updates. You may cash in on this by sending your fans newsletters, promotions and pretty much anything you feel they may be interested in. you also invite them to try out your latest products. What you have on your hands are people waiting to buy from you.

A voice of warning though; do not constantly bombard your fans with offers and notifications to buy from you. Send them useful information that may be of benefit to them. Reward them for being your fans by hosting contests and rewarding your winners. This strategy will get you a huge data base of base of fans for life. On the other hand, you may wish to buy Google+ votes to add credibility to your website. The way I see it, Google is trying hard to make their search engine ranking more human. Give them what they want by getting people to like your website. If it means buying votes and likes from places like http://www.Socialkik.com/ to achieve your aim, by all means do it. In the end, you are the one who benefits from all the trouble.
