Making time for friends

During our monthly ‘girly’ get together last week, we decided it’s time we all went on a day trip with our partners and children. After spending the whole night thinking and choosing where to go, we finally decided to go fruit picking. We still need to decide on the date; we weren’t sure when everyone is available, so we will do that sometime next week. The first thing we need to do is find the closet farm that will be open in the next few months, as the one that I usually go to with my family is closed for the year. Somehow I have ended up with the task of finding the farm which means I’ll be sitting in front of my computer during my weekends until I find a place. To top it all, they also left it to me to arrange the transport for the day, so I will need to find a 12-seater that is comfortable and affordable. I hope everyone is free in the next couple of weeks, I just don’t want it to drag on for months that we don’t end up going anywhere and just sit at my flat like our normal gatherings. To make sure it happens I will find the farm and book the minibus, so then no one will have any excuse to cancel or drag it along for too long. Once everything is done, I will have to convince my boyfriend to join us, he is a very quite person who doesn’t like parties and so trying to take him out has always been a mission for me.
