Managed Switch purchase your home network - Why Your Home Needs To Switch?
Written by John Peterson
If you are using modern technology in your home, you're probably a Media Center PC or Xbox, Blu-ray player to play games and watch high-definitio
TV, and you probably use a VoIP phone line. It is likely that you upgrade to Gigabit network switches and cables to meet the your video streaming needs. However, you probably do not have Managed network switch. If so, you're reading the right article as an introduction to Managed networks. Here are two main reasons why your home network to update the unmanaged switch managed switch and why to buy your home network makes sense. The reasons are: better, glitch free streaming high-definition video and smooth, and GPG without VoIP phone calls. Let's see how input switches, sometimes called the Smart Switch can help.
No problems streaming high-def video
If you are streaming videos from your Media Center via a home network, it makes perfect sense. You just download the video once, store it on your Media Center, and there you have it there, always ready. And since you have a high-speed network to gigabit throughput, your network can handle such a high-bandwidth flows. But is that enough? For the most part, yes. But what about those glitches you sometimes come across from time to time. You begin to wonder why they occur. The reason may be that some of the other operations were required in the network, the network switch, focus and other operations received adequate attention from the transition to a temporary cause video packets, which cause damage to your HDTV picture immediately.
How can I fix it? Just buy managed switches in your home network and to ensure that your Xbox or Media Center PC is assigned the highest priority when it comes to switching network information packets. Instead of treating all the information in the packets, video packets receive higher priority and will not be delayed enough to cause interference, your HDTV picture.
Without pause and without disconnect a VoIP phone calls
VoIP is a great way to use modern technology to reduce your home phone bill. Modern home network really have enough bandwidth to accommodate the bandwidth needed to carry out a telephone conversation! However, the bandwidth is not enough. Talk on the phone, long delays can be hard work. And we really do not like the dropped calls! These phone line quality issues can be from other activities that are a consequence of our home network. So, when we are using VoIP, we need to ensure that not only we have the bandwidth, but also that we have enough priority network packets assigned to our VoIP line to get rid of any VoIP immediately, and dropped calls. Both bandwidth and priority to VoIP packets can be controlled via a simple web interface, instead of a regular network switch and a switch operated by the purchase of your home.
