The first quarter of 2022 just ended.
Content marketers: What were your biggest content wins for the first 3 months of 2022?
Any predictions for Quarter 2?
This post contains some of mine. We will start with the biggest content wins and end with a prediction for Q2.
These are listed in order of best performers.
1. How to Get Out of Facebook Jail
https://www.mostlyblogging.com/how-to-get-out-of-facebook-jail/
Happily, How to Get Out of Facebook Jail remains my top performer. The post currently brings in 22% of my traffic. The post continues to touch a nerve for people upset about being incarcerated in Facebook Jail and banned from their accounts.
2. MeWe We Reviews:
https://www.mostlyblogging.com/mewe-review-facebook-alternative/
Once, I never thought this post reviewing the social media site MeWe would ever see the light of day again up against such giants like Mashable that also reviewed MeWe.
Surprise! Happily, these MeWe reviews currently account for 12% of my traffic.
3. TikTok to MP3
https://www.mostlyblogging.com/tiktok-mp3-download/
This post contains tutorials showing people how they can get free music from TikTok legally and ethically. The post brings in 7% of my traffic.
4. "Best I Can Do Is" Meme
https://www.mostlyblogging.com/best-i-can-do-meme/
I wanted to share free meme downloaders. I used the TV Show Pawn Stars as a springboard for the post. The post brings in 6% of my traffic.
5. Cursed Text Generator
https://www.mostlyblogging.com/cursed-text-generator/
As you see, I like to share free tools for use on social media. This post shares Halloween fonts and tutorials for using other fonts on social media sites. The article full of tutorials currently brings in 4% of my traffic.
6. Sexy Reddits
https://www.mostlyblogging.com/r-nsfw-gif-hot-subreddits/
I didn't intend to post about mature subreddits. It was the only keyword I could find and still post about subreddits with a chance of ranking in the Search Engine Results Pages. Clearly, I went against my brand. The post currently brings in 3% of my traffic.
7. PosterMyWall.com
https://www.mostlyblogging.com/postermywall/
Written years ago, the post, like the tool, continues to generate interest. The article full of examples and tutorials for using the PosterMyWall graphic design tool currently brings in 3% of my traffic.
8. Pinterest Video Downloader
https://www.mostlyblogging.com/pinterest-downloader/
As hard as I tried over the last quarter, I couldn't keep this post explaining how to conduct a Pinterest video download on page 1 of the SERPs. At one time in second place, the post is almost out of my top 10 and only brings in 2% of my traffic.
9. Incremental Plagiarism
The post is in the top 3 for the keyword "incremental plagiarism." Therefore, I'm not sure why it is only in 9th place and brings in a mere 2% of my traffic.
10. Cons of Snapchat
https://www.mostlyblogging.com/cons-of-snapchat/
Despite being at the bottom of the top 10, the post has remained consistently at the top of the SERPs for the keyword term "cons of Snapchat" and currently brings in 2% of my blog traffic.
Okay, those were my Top 10 for the first quarter of 2022.
Prediction for Quarter 2:
How to Grow on TikTok
https://www.mostlyblogging.com/how-to-grow-on-tiktok/
A new post, explaining how to grow on TikTok and offering TikTok marketing strategies just arrived on the bottom of page 1 of the SERPs in Position 8 for the keyword "how to grow on TikTok." There are 1000 searches a month, so I will continue to share the post like I am doing here today with you!
Wrapping Up
I hope you enjoyed hearing how my first quarter of 2022 blogging and content marketing went. I hope yours went well too!
