It is the fact that the shopping activity really enthralls most of the people and we always keep on looking for new vistas of shopping centers in the world. Some of the people like to purchase antique things, some want such a unique item which shows the culture of any particular place and some go for most advance and fashionable stuff. Marina Bay is said to be a 24/7 open destination with plethora of opportunities for people to “explore new living and lifestyle options, exchange new ideas and information for business, and be entertained by rich leisure and cultural experiences”. It is here where the most innovative facilities and infrastructure such as the underground “common services tunnel” have been built. In Marina Bay the places or malls that are worth visiting are:
Marina Square Shopping Mall: This very big mall houses over 300 odd shops selling almost every things related to daily life.
Millenia Walk Mall: This is another big swanky mall housing hundreds of national and international retail outlet including popular brands offering variety of things.
Suntec City Mall: This mall is considered as the largest mall of the Singapore and is divided into four thematic zones – like Galleria, Tropics, Entertainment Centre and Fountain Terrace. It contains over 400 retail outlets, more than 50 pushcarts and around 100 food and beverage outlets.
Raffles City Shopping Centre: This mall is located near the City Hall MRT stop. Like above, here too you would find international and national brand retail outlets and a no of eating outlets to enjoy the dishes of Singapore.
City Link Shopping Centre: Located over the City Hall MRT Station makes this location more convenient for the visitors also as this mall is located over the MRT station thus it provides connectivity to other malls like Marina Square and Suntec City Mall. Spread over the 60,000 square feet air-conditioned houses nearly 50 retail shops and eating outlets.
Other good shopping places in Singapore are China Town, Arab Street, Clarke Quay, Holland Village Shopping, Harbourfront Precinct shopping, Little India shopping, Orchard Road, North Bridge Road, Stamford Road, Geylang Serai Shopping Centre, Kampong Glang, Bugis Street and many other good shopping centers which are worth visiting.
