MBA has become one of the most popular post-graduate courses in India. It not only helps in building management and leadership skills but also enables you to develop your overall personality—the scope of landing a good job increases after getting an MBA from a good institute. People who want to invest in themselves pursue MBA. Being said that there are a lot of institutes which offer this course and choosing the right institute is important.

Symbiosis MBA colleges are one of the best and popular institutes that offer MBA in India. They have a variety of specializations to choose from. The competition for this college is so high that they conduct their entrance test called Symbiosis National Aptitude test every year.

SNAP Exam

SNAP is an aptitude test for MBA. The difficulty level of this exam is moderate to high, and if appropriately prepared, the students can score well.

Paper Pattern

This year SNAP has brought some significant changes in the exam pattern. The candidate can attempt the SNAP exam twice this year. There will be 60 questions which the students will have to solve in under 60 minutes. Symbiosis mainly focuses on the time-management, accuracy, and speed of the candidate. A section of general knowledge has also been scraped off entirely by the institute. Every right answer will grant one mark, and 25% of negative marking will be done for every wrong answer. The students are advised to be very careful while marking the answers.

Preparation Strategy

Ideally, a student should start studying months before the exam. While preparation, the candidates should solve the previous year's paper. Moreover, they should attempt mock tests. This will help the aspirant in increasing speed and accuracy. This year predicting the cut-off score will be hard because the pattern has changed completely, but the preparation strategy should remain the same.

SNAP is conducted in numerous cities in India, and the applicant can choose up to three cities as a preferred location. The students have to fill the SNAP registration fees only once for both the attempts, which is a plus point.

Determination method

After the applicant gets through the exam, the admission process begins. All the colleges under SIU have different cut-offs which are decided by the respective colleges.

There are three more steps after the aptitude examination. These rounds consist of a group exercise, personal interaction, and written ability test. The shortlisted applicants then receive an invitation for GE/PI and WAT. The final choice is made based on the academic record, performance in GE/PI, and SNAP score.

For more information, candidates are advised to visit the college's official website.
