If that is a conce for the project, then the item must be either coated or painted for protection, or can be made of stainless steel for corrosion resistance. Stainless steel fabrication is a process that gives great results in such cases.

An alloy of steel, chromium and nickel creates the most common type of stainless steel which is Type 304, or “surgical steel”.
