“Miracles Are All Around Us”

We think that miracles have disappeared— but the reality is miracles are happening all the time.

Here is one small example:

True Story of Lost Diamond Earrings Reappearing—

There was a couple who live in Canada and going on a vacation to South Africa and then to India. The husband had given his wife a moderately priced set of diamond earrings for her birthday and she loved them. So she took them on the trip and he commented on the plane that the earrings looked so nice on her. When they arrived in South Africa they enjoyed their time there, meet with friends, and had a typical vacation. Then they packed up and headed for India for a few more days. When they arrived in India the wife decided to wear her earrings but could not find them and she was frantically looking for them all over. Yet no matter how many times she went through her bag the earrings were nowhere to be found. But she kept looking because those earrings had sentimental value and she did not want to lose them.

Finally, they were about to leave to go back to Canada and she felt terrible. So she got down on her knees and prayed to God that her diamond earrings would be found. Finally, they had to make their way to the airport and go through customs and make their way to the plane. And all she had on her mind were the earrings.

The next day they arrived in Canada and hailed a taxi and made it home by 12 noon. They were both tired from that long exhausting trip, so they decided to lay down and take a nap. But before the wife retired she took off her jewelry and opened up her jewelry box… and low and behold, there in front of her were the lost diamond earrings.

So the wife screamed out in joy and showed her husband. And he too was very thankful because he knew God had heard their prayers and made the earrings reappear back home— just as if nothing had every happened.

Thus they headed off into their shrine room and sat down and said their prayers of thanks. They lit candles and incense and also chanted the name of God over and over again. They are a devoted couple and always have God, the Universe, and Great Spirit on their mind.

Thus little miracles do happen every single day.
