Music Education in School Can Help Kids Improve Reading Ability

How do you treat your parents? Do you always argue or kiss them all the time. Before I quiz you any more, let me tell you the story of a huge apple tree and a little boy. A long time ago there was a huge apple tree in the small village named chota Gaon. There a little boy loved to play with the same tree; he loved to climb the branches, eat its sweet apples and would often take a nap under it. As the time passed the little boy was growing big gradually but he no longer spent time with the apple tree. One day when the boy was passing from the same path, the tree spoke to the child and said, “I am very delighted to see you my little boy”. The tree again asked the boy to spare some moments but the child replied that he was no longer a little boy and he galloped away on his little horse.

When the child grew bigger, he wanted toys to play but for that he needed money. So, he asked the tree to help him out. The tree replied sorry I don’t have money; instead you can pluck my apples and sell it off to earn money. The boy filled with excitement, collected all the apples and left. After that the boy didn’t return again and the tree was really disappointed. It didn’t want the boy to leave because they had a close relationship. After few years the boy returned again, the tree got glad and invited him to play. The boy ignored and left by saying that he had to work to support his family as he need a house for them. The tree again offered the boy to cut the branches and build the house. The boy cut all the branches and left. The tree was very glad to see him but the boy again didn’t return for long time.

At last the boy returned after many years. Then the tree said, “Sorry my boy, now I don’t have anything to give you. No more apples to eat or branches to climb. I am left with only dried roots, then the boy replied, “I don’t have teeth to bite; I am too old for climbing. I don’t need much now, just a place to rest. I am tired after all these years. The boy sat down and the tree smiled.

Through this story I just want to tell you that our parents are also just like the tree in the story. They shower their unconditional love on us every moment. While we are young, we love to play with our mom and dad but when we turn into adults we think that our parents don’t understand us and every time we argue with them. We tend to take our parents for granted and know that our parents will always be there to help us. You may think the boy is cruel to the tree but that is how some of us treat our parents. I hope that this story will give you a chance to think carefully about your relationship with your parents inorder to have a blessed life.
