My Bangkok Diaries

After coming out of our flights to Bangkok we found it just like what we had read or heard. The life here is all about fun, entertainment and high spirit. The city of Bangkok can easily be called the city of good times where people come from all across the world to evade their worries and chill. We were four friends and had the same intentions to go to this city. We were searching for the cheap flights to Bangkokfor the past six months and once we get one as per our convenience, we froze the dates of our tours. Once we touched the land of Thailand, we all were excited to spend a week in and around the city of Bangkok. Our heads were buzzing with the stories we have heard about the ambience, culture and happenings of the city of Bangkok and we wanted to validate all of those.

It was a time in the evening when we reached down our hotel situated in the North end of the city. We hurriedly threw our luggage in the room and came out to check the night life scene of the city. We wanted to exploit every single second while we were in the city of Bangkok. We had a heavy snack on the flight itself so food was the last thing on our mind. We wanted to head straight to a pub or bar to check out the nightlife of the city. The first intelligent thing we did after landing was to buy a Bangkok city guide. The guide remained useful throughout the tour. We flipped pages from the guide to know the best bar in the nearby area.

We got to read good reviews for Slim/Flix in the guide so decided to go there. It’s a huge club with two main halls. One is a chilled house called Flix while other is Slim where Hip Hop or R&B is played on regular days. The place is usually packed with people looking for some good time with booze and music. The tequilas there were to die for; unfortunately the sexual chemistry amongst people was a little on the higher side. Make no mistake, I am no gay but sometimes you want tantalizing moments, not in-your-face sexuality and it was one of those days when I was not up for it. Before leaving thought I had the best Beef Nachos I could have laid my hands on
