There are times in any man's life when you are forced to go to a local market with a female friend on a saturday morning to help her shop or in her words, to 'hang out'. Deep inside, you know whats going to happen -- while your friend gets lost in all the awesome things that girls like, you end up looking around hoping to find a friend that you can talk to -- about more 'manly' things.

This is an account of a true incident that happened to me.
True story (as Barney Stinson would call it).

Last weekend when I was in Spitalfields market with my friends Amy and Monika, a few things happened that changed my outlook about local markets in London especially Spitalfields market. Everyone who knows me knows that I'm not a very good shooper - I'm actually bad at it - that is, too many minutes in a store and I become positively claustrophic.

Amy, my friend, on the other hand, really loves to shop. So does Monika. I would follow Amy and Monika into the shops, and then retreat to the sidewalks after a few minutes in a shop, and would entertain myself outside watching the crowds and people. It was a nice day, and the street were not yet uncomfortably full of people.

Perfect!
Almost like a museum!

Very early in the day, I made a shocking discovery: it is not just that Amy and Monika both like shopping, they like shopping for shoes particularly ballet shoes. It made things very easy as one of the first things they found was this little place 'The White Ribbon' they had some of the most funkiest ballet shoes you could see around. So much so that I was lured into some of the store to gaze with wonder at the shoes!
And to go with shoes, a woman needs a hat, doesn't she?

Well, doesn't every woman need a hat? Even if the hat belonged to an awesome classy women who owned a store called Pamella Designs - notwithstanding that the hats were not the ballet type. There was no convincing Amy and Monika that the cardinal fascinator hat and shoes did not necessarily go together. Their explanation (as expected) was that the items could be worn separately.

Me, on the other hand was immediately gravitating to the store that had vampire blood necklace (big surprise). Coucou heart had the little bottles and goes what there was nothing that was going to stop me from sneaking a purchase. Except for the surprise arrival of Monika who almost immediately gave me the stink eye. 5 minutes later, I smiled like a little child because the lady behind the counter gave me a little leaflet that said 'shop online at myMzone'. This made me feel better because now I could go online and get the necklace online from the comfort of my home without my girl friend judging me and not thinking I was not so tough anymore.

Once I came out of the store, I quickly realised that the girls were not done shopping. Naturally, to go with the hat, the girls needed a ring. Of course! To my joy, I found a store that was called Amber Joy and to my amazement, there were several rings that caught the attention of the girls so much so that they decided to go back home and shop online and choose them later using my new found website - myMzone.
