Natural Remedies and Treatment for Gout

Gout (gouty arthritis) is a complex form of arthritis that causes seizures and sudden severe pain, redness and tenderness in joints, caused by crystallized uric acid concentrated around the affected joint. The most common joint affected is the big toe (called gout gout), however, gout can affect the ankle, instep, heel, knee, spine, elbows, wrists, fingers and, in severe cases, gout can deform the affected joint. An acute attack of gout provide a feeling of burning pain in the affected joint, leaving the joint hot, swollen and very sensitive to any kind of contact.

Gout can affect anyone. Men are more likely to suffer from gout, but women become more susceptible to gout after menopause. People tend to drop likely to have high levels of uric acid in blood. The doctor may prescribe a higher dose to stop an acute attack, followed by a lower daily dose to prevent future attacks. The Colchicine is a type of painkiller that lowers gout pain - especially when treatment is started soon after symptoms appear. Both drugs can cause side effects intolerable to many people, such as nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. Corticosteroids may control inflammation and pain of gout. Side effects of steroids may include thinning bones, poor wound healing and decreased ability to fight infections. For patients with gout, American Dietetic Association recommended drink about 2-4 liters of liquids per day, and at least 2 liters of water, alcohol avoid eating a moderate amount of protein, preferably from healthy sources as milk with low fat or no fat, egg and vegetable butters and limit the daily intake of meat, fish and birds to about 114-170 grams.

Red meats are high in protein, essential substances for the health of the body, and to this end, the protein should not be eliminated from the diet, and yes, new options in food should be prioritized. Eggs and dairy products like milk, cheese, iorgurte and the like are high in protein and vegetables such as buckwheat, quinoa, peanuts, almonds, chestnuts, walnuts and flax seeds, sunflower and pumpkin. Soybeans are also rich in protein.
