New Ford Canterbury
Written by john watson
One of the great benefits of buying a new Ford Canterbury buyers can look forward to is the range of high quality cars. Ford have a long history of producing innovative and class leading cars and they continue this reputation today with ever popular models like the Focus and the Mondeo, the Galaxy and the C-Max and S-Max models. Whatever you require from a car, whether it’s great looks and classy styling or a comfortable ride for long distance jou
eys, you will be able to meet those requirements with one of the various Fords that are available.
Ford have performed especially well in recent years with the sale of their affordable, quality small cars. Cars like the Ka have a distinctive style that has become very popular while the Fiesta and the Focus, in their many variants, are among two of the most popular cars that are sold in the UK.
The Ford Ka is a compact and highly affordable car. Having undergone a major redesign, the Ka continues to impress and with prices starting at less than just £8,000 it is one of the most affordable cars on the road. The 1.3 litre diesel engine affords the owner up to 69mpg while all models offer inexpensive insurance and equally cheap servicing and repair costs.
The Ford Mondeo is critically acclaimed in the media and it has enjoyed particular success with families and with business owners. It is particularly well renowned for its comfort and fun drive. It also features plenty of boot space, very well equipped models throughout the range, and even the 2.0TDCi offers great fuel economy with around 50mpg. The 1.8 diesel offers even greater fuel economy but it is the 2.0 litre diesel engine that most buyers will choose.
The Galaxy is an expansive MPV which provides seemingly acres of space for the family and their belongings. Despite its size, it is surprisingly comfortable to drive around towns and cities, and is very comfortable inside while the diesel engines offer as much as 50mpg over any range of journey. The petrol engines are racier and therefore offer less in fuel economy but they still offer space, luxury, and a great drive.
