Aside from compliments and praises, (plus, some additional incentives like bonus doesn't hurt either) what are some of the ideas when it comes to motivational rewards to commend some people in recognizing their work?

Well, there are other ways of motivating individuals aside from the typical ones we know. For one, you can give some gift certificates to acknowledge other people's hard work and contribution. These kinds of motivational rewards are really useful especially if you've no idea what gifts they like. These gift certificates can be in the form of movie passes or restaurant freebies.

Also, gift baskets are not to be missed! Gift baskets are truly appropriate if you want to motivate or reward an entire team for their hard work or performance.

Try looking for a big basket gift of popcorn, cookies or pastries everyone can share. How about some engraved items to thank someone for their dedication? Think of clocks, ball point pens, letter openers, lapel pins
and paperweights and get them engraved for the one receiving. You can add helpful phrases like, "good job" or "great working with you". They'll really appreciate the gesture.

Then don't forget the old fashioned style of a thank you handwritten note. In this day and age of instant and impersonal emails and SMS, it may be the most inexpensive, but also the most thoughtful of all the motivational rewards.

Want to make someone happy and smile fast? Chocolates and desserts never fail. Giving something sweet for someone like chocolates and cookies is such an easy yet sweetest way to tell them they're always remembered and much appreciated.

Speaking of motivation and motivational rewards, my latest ebook is finally live! I'm excited to share with you my Gold Mine to Success--it's new, and it's fresh off the World Wide Web.
