Non-surgical Remedy for Abdominal Hernias
There are about 5 million abdominal hernia sufferers in the USA. A hernia is the protrusion of an organ through the body-skin wall of the cavity that normally contains it. The most common hernias are developed in the abdomen, when a weakness in the abdominal wall evolves into a localized hole, through which abdominal organs (often the small intestine) may protrude. (Other common hernias include herniated spinal disc, hiatus hernia, etc., are not in the scope of this discussion.) Common abdominal hernias include the inguinal, femoral, umbilical, and incision types. Hernias develop when pressure in the cavity of the residing organ is increased, and the muscle skin wall is weak or weakened.
Symptoms of the abdominal hernias may include pain or cramp in the lower abdominal area, or only discomfort or slight motion restrictions. Since there are no recognized medications for hernias, the standard Western treatment is a surgery, often with wire-mesh installed to seal the hole/opening on the skin wall.
In traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), however, herbal remedies have been widely used to remedy these hernias over hundreds of years with no side effects. For example, Magiherbs’ Hawthornia is a 100% natural formula proven to be effective to relieve hernias (except hiatus hernia) and other related symptoms caused by general Qi-weakness or over-exercises. Hawthornia relieves most symptoms of groin, femoral, and inguinal hernias, and some umbilical hernias, especially in their early stage of occurrence.
Hawthornia contains 11 herbs (please see www.magiherbs.com) to improve Qi-energy and to strengthen the lower abdominal organ support muscles and tendons, so that the organs, including intestines, will go back to stay in their original positions, hence won't fall into an opening on the body wall. Therefore the symptoms of hernias disappear, even if the hole may till be there. Of course, Hawthornia works best when little symptoms have been felt; if the lump becomes too big, and symptoms remain after two bottles of Hawthornia, one may need a surgery to seal the opening first, then taking Hawthornia also helps to avoid symptoms happen on the other side of the abdomen. Although Hawthornia can avoid the same organ falling to the other side of abs, it cannot heal the wounds caused by the surgery. Therefore, early usage of Hawthornia is recommended, and a surgery may be the last resort.
Notice that one should not take Hawthornia with stomach ulcer or in high fever. One should consult a physician before beginning any nutritional supplement program.
