Written by Chris Martin
Tanzania is known as a safari destination and boasts some of the best wildlife across Africa. However, Tanzania safari trip is something that requires careful planning if you want to get the most out of what is for many visitors, once in a lifetime trip. Planning a safari in Tanzania, it is important to know the best places to visit, and the best time to go there.
Northern Tanzania offers a world class wilderness areas in a relatively small area. Serengeti, Kilimanjaro and Ngorongoro is the best-known regions, but, Tarangire, Natron, Manyara and Eyasi is also worth considering. Tanzania boasts some beautiful scenery, the incredible diversity of wildlife and a huge variety of levels. Nearly four out of five visitors to Tanzania to visit the northern region alone, most of them driving safari or safari. However, most of the safari tourists concentrate only on the well-known hotspots, and completely miss the best areas of expertise.
But safari in Northern Tanzania success largely depends on the Serengeti travel element, and this is a prime example of how you need to understand not only the park, but in different areas of the park during the dynamics. For example, you should be treated with caution in the Central Serengeti busy, and if possible look at visiting quieter areas, especially betwee
August and October or southern Serengeti Plains Loliondo, Northern Serengeti from December to May.
Southern Tanzania has really opened up a lot over the past decade, but still retains the charm of the desert and the feeling that some parts of northern Tanzania lost some time ago. Selous and Ruaha Great "hotspots", and these compliment each other perfectly, but as Saadani, Udzungwa and Southern Highlands has its own events. These are usually smaller and simpler bush camp, but here you have many more opportunities for walking safaris and boat safaris, than you are in northern Tanzania. Safari tourists usually fly between most major areas, but as driven.
Western Tanzania is a little hidden gem of Africa. More and more people recognize it and maybe talk about it with respect, but you'll find that very few have visited it, but very deep. Katav Mahal and National Parks are the main areas, but, Tanganyika rest is worth considering, along with places such as Rukwa, and Malagarasi Ugalla.
Surprisingly, Tanzania can sometimes be ignored by visitors. This is unfortunate, because the coast of Tanzania, Zanzibar and Pemba include the Mafia and other offshore islands. It also offers some of the best beaches, diving and game fishing available anywhere in the Indian Ocean. Whether your beach vacation a few days with Safari installed, or the reverse, the beach and safari holiday combination is about as good as it gets to the Tanzanian coast.
In all regions of Tanzania are much smaller in the periphery of known options should be considered in conjunction with the main game parks. An experienced safari tour operator should be able to take you through all the options and find the best matching safari tour, depending on the requirements, Tanzania safaris.
