Ostrich is very lean minced and rich in protein, for me, training in the gym is so delicious in those days. It is also relatively cheap here in Cape Town where I live. If you live in, other meat is available, lean ground beef, chunks of beef cut, or chicken parts have no problem. Just season the meat in the same way and, if using whole pieces of meat, of course, do not roll into a ball, and simply put the parsley in the broth mixture. If you are vegetarian, simply use your favorite beans instead of meat.

All my recipes on how to make food cooked with ingredients that are whole and natural as possible. The dumplings, although made with real butter and whole milk organic also contain processed flour with yeast, so is my little naughty in this meal. However, it is much better than cake, cookies, bread or most supermarkets, and is very satisfying.

Another product I use is bought soy sauce. I read the label and make sure it is not misleading • Salt under different degrees, as it contains sodium benzoate. I found a famous brand that really makes real soy sauce and salt has a variety of real rather than a substitute for salt-which-is-more likely-more harmful-to-anything-can-do salt. I found a way to buy this in a big bottle, it is cheaper ml ml for the purchase of brands usually full of preservatives in smaller, cheaper bottles.

The vegetables used are just what's in season. Strongly flavored celery is a great advantage, but otherwise, you can use thyme, oregano, marjoram, rosemary, or whatever you have available for a strong taste similar. Stew should not have a mild flavor. Stew should be exciting!

And finally, I am not a nutritionist, but a holistic health professional who loves to cook from scratch and write prescriptions to demonstrate how quick and easy it is to cook instead of prepared dishes. So, without further ado, here's the recipe.

Stew Ingredients

* Seasonal vegetables (carrots, spring greens, leeks, a small amount of onion, zucchini, celery, parsley, sliced ginger, whatever works is fine)
* 3-4 medium potatoes, diced, to thicken the stew naturally
1 tablespoon soy sauce
* 1 / 4 crushed garlic (about 1 / 8 teaspoon)
* Sea salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
* Sprinkle each casserole Saudi spices cinnamon and allspice (best to use a cinnamon stick if you can get instead of cinnamon)

Meatball ingredients

* 1 / 2 kilo (one pound) minced ostrich
Salt and pepper to taste
* Sprinkle each with cinnamon or allspice, enough to cover the meat (as if the circuits salting)
* 1 / 2 cup (120 ml) finely chopped parsley

Dumpling Ingredients

2 cups (approximately 480 ml) self-raising flour
* Pinch of salt, to taste
* 5 tablespoons butter or coconut oil low at room temperature
* Around 3 / 4 cup (180 ml) milk

Mix broth ingredients in boiling water to almost reach the top of the pot. It should take about half to two thirds of a medium size pot. Then mix the meatball ingredients, at which point the pot should be starting to boil. Let the pot boil slightly as you roll small balls in the dish after another. Reduce heat to simmer, and start on dough balls. With a fork, quickly cut the flour into the dough balls until the mixture is full of pea-sized pieces of butter with flour. Gently stir in enough milk to the mixture about to celebrate together. Add more if necessary. Quick snacks fall very dumpling filled with vegetables on the pan. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove lid and simmer for 10 minutes or more if necessary. You can find out if you make dumplings by sticking a toothpick or skewer in the center of one. Comes out clean, if the dumplings are done. Enjoy.
