Dr. S. Vengurlekar is a Board Certified Interventional Pain Specialist and he specializes in the interventional Treatment of pain disorders. He entered medical school at the age of 16 and graduated after completing a year of residency in back surgery, medicine, obstetrics-gynecology, orthopedics, and pediatrics. Throughout his earlier schooling, High School and Medical School, Dr. Vengurlekar topped his class, remained on the Dean’s List and won honors and prizes in various specialties in both the University and other competitive exams. He then completed a surgical residency and became a board certified surgeon. He was an instructor in general surgery in Jawaharalal Nehru Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, a referral and major medical and teaching center in Pondicherry, India. Dr Vengurlekar completed a year of cardiovascular and thoracic surgery training at Sinai Hospital, Detroit, Michigan. Following that specialty training, he trained at the Bronx Lebanon Hospital affiliated with Albert Einstein Medical Center in New York. During his training, A tragic event occurred with one of the patients in pain and he was moved by the pain and suffering of patients and made a commitment to go into the challenging field of treating and helping patients in pain center Arizonarnand suffering. He completed training in anesthesiology, pain, feet pain, spine specialist, leg pains, critical care, and cardiac anesthesia at Loyola University Medical Center of Chicago, Illinois. During his extensive training and residencies in multiple Pain Specialists, Dr. Vengurlekar also gained tremendous experience as an ER Physician in Illinois and Indiana. To summarize, Dr. Vengurlekar has had extensive and intensive training in multiple specialties, is extremely knowledgeable and experienced in a variety of medical specialties, widely acclaimed as a skilled diagnostician, is a compassionate and dedicated physician, and committed to the care of his patients, to whom he feels privileged to serve. He has earned tremendous respect of his fellow colleagues, medical professionals, nursing staff and the community.
