Possible Reasons Why Men Don't Call Back After A Date

When you're young your entire life is about the pursuit of fun. Then, you grow up and learn to be cautious; you might break a bone or a heart. You look before you leap and sometimes you don’t leap at all, because there isn’t always someone to catch you. And in life, expect that there is no safety net. When did it end being fun and start being scary?

I guess, it all begun when you had experienced that unpleasant feeling of not having a man call you, after what you thought was an awesome date. Don’t you just hate it? Waiting beside the phone, checking if the dial tone works or not, double checking if the mobile phone has enough good reception to receive any calls or text messages.

I do. I really hate it.

I had my fair share of this unpleasant experience. I bet a lot of women out there also detest waiting on the phone, helplessly, wondering “why hadn’t he called-up yet? Is he dead? What did I do wrong? Is something wrong with me? Am I not pretty enough?”
It is such a big hit in the ego that majority of women take a step back from dating and start cursing men.
I know how it feels. So, I took the liberty of asking as many male friends as I can the question- “Why dont men call back women after a date?” I had tons of interesting answers. And since they came from a male perspective, it’s best that, we, women might try to keep an open mind with this one.
Men don't call back because...

* You look nothing like your profile picture picture. This applies if you met each other in an online dating service. He doesn't mean to be shallow, so he explained his perspective- "if I was sitting at the next table in a coffee shop with you and we made eye contact and you're not physically attracted to me, would you be inclined to make a conversation with me and give me your phone number? It's the same concept. It works both ways."

* You cannot stop talking on your mobile phone. For men, there is nothing ruder than answering your mobile phone and talking to your girlfriend while on a date.

* He is confused if he should ask you what to eat for dinner or your hourly rate. By nature, me love eye candy. But if you are wearing a top that makes your nipple about to to pop out and you're in an ultra-skimpy skirt and you're flirting (prolonged eye contact) with any guy that passes by, then he is not going to call you back, especially if he is looking for a serious relationship.

* He saw perceivable signs that you are not interested. Men are terrified with rejections. They'd rather not call you back athan risk being turned down.

* He is not that into you. The most direct answer why he doesn't call back. If a man is truly interested, there will no excuses, no bullshits- he will call you back and ask you out again within the period of 72 hours.

So there you have it, ladies, coming from the horses' mouth why they never call back. Before I leave you with your thoughts, let me give you my two cents. If a man doesn't call back, forget about him! There are thousands of reasons (good and bad) why he didn't call you back; there is no point of hurting your brains out about it! Get over it! There are way too may proverbial fishes in the ocean to be troubled by why a guy didn't call you back.
