Communication and internet enjoy a strong relationship. Internet has changed the worth and look of almost the entire communication material. It has added speed and worth to all sorts of formal and informal communication especially in the domain of business. Whether it is something related to communication between the organization and its customers or between one organization and the other, all has been sped up by the use of internet.

Brochure design is not just a marketing tool but a vital source of communication between an organization and its customers. Whether it is a corporate brochure or a promotional brochure, it communicates loads of things about an organization to its target audience. The magical arrival of internet has also affected the presence of brochures.

Initially brochure designs were used in the printed form. Internet gave rise to electronic brochures. The purpose of brochure design is still the same but their importance has vitally increased. Both the electronic brochures and printed brochures are used simultaneously. Many people prefer using printed brochures and many prefer using electronic brochures.

Let’s discuss the benefits of both types of brochure designs in order to have a clear understanding of this tool of marketing and communication. Electronic brochure design is an advanced version of printed brochures. They make the process of communication easier and faster. Unlike printed brochures, electronic brochures take less time in reaching the target audience. Few clicks make you reach your target audience. Thus, electronic brochures save a huge time on part of the organization. It also reduces the hassle during the process.

Printed brochures require an additional cost of printing which demands huge budget. The quality of paper matters the most. If a brochure has an appealing design but the quality of its printing paper isn’t good then the whole impression of the brochure is lost. Organizations that have low budget for creating a brochure tend to compromise on its designing elements in order to save the budget for its printing process.

The printing cost is eliminated in case of electronic brochures; thus, all the money is spent solely on its designing process. This helps in increasing its worth. Electronic brochure designs reflect that the organization is well versed with technology and this creates a sound impression of its corporate caliber in front of its target audience. Dealing with technology is not an easy task. There are a lot of important and intricate things that need to be researched while creating an electronic brochure.

Electronic brochures are more cost effective than printed brochures but there are certain limitations associated with electronic brochures. They can’t be used for communication with customers. You can’t have the email addresses of all your target customers in order to send your brochures to them while when it comes to communication with industry mates, then electronic brochures are highly effective and worthy than printed brochure designs.

Printed brochures are majorly used for promotional purposes. They are aimed at attracting the target customers; thus, they are an easy way to reach a large number of customers. Whether your brochure design is electronic or printed, its purpose is to promote your business; thus, it must lie in complete affirmation with the nature of the business.
