A 2 BHK flat can generate a rent anywhere between Rs 16 to 22 depending if the house is semi or fully-furnished. If the locality attracts the cosmopolitan crowd, it is but natural to see the locality rapidly develop. Renowned hospitals, education institutions and shopping malls have proven that the locality is an ideal place for families and retired personals. Apart from just creating multi-storey buildings that cater to IT employees, builders are now creating family-friendly housing projects. To appeal to the families, builders are now offering facilities like power back up, free parking and children’s playground. The quaint environment clubbed with established social lifestyle is making Marathahalli a perfect place to reside in. Despite being a suburban locality, Marathahalli’s rapid transition from being a tiny village to a developed locality is luring many potential home buyers. And with the market being favorable for investors, houses in Marathahalli are now being bought by investors only to be let them out on rent later.
