Rare Earth Metals As Crucial As Other Metals

Earth is full of precious metals such as gold, platinum, silver, copper, brass and many more. There are other metals which are found in the Earth in abundance but considered as one of the crucial metal such as iron. But there many rare earth metals that are also considered really crucial. Lanthanide Series Metals

Those metals that belong to lanthanides series are soft. Metals of this category burns in the air. They release hydrogen gas when these rare earth metals react with water. In general, rare Earth elements of the lanthanide series adhere to water. These react well with dilute acids at room temperature also release hydrogen. They release high amount of heat with the reaction of hydrogen. Metals of lanthanides series have very strong diminishing properties.
