Reasons due to which pimple occurs in the ear

Pimple inside the ear may sound weird but actually many people suffer from this problem. Pimples can occur at any part of the ear such as exte al ear, inside the ear as well as behind the ear. Pimple that is commonly also known as acne is basically a skin disease that generally occurs because of the excess secretion of the oil from oil glands of skin. Pimple in ear can also be known as ear bumps as well as ear zits. When the excess oil gets trappedin the dead skin cell and blocksthe pores of the skin, it results into trapping of fungus and bacteria that is present in vicinity and due to this pimple can be formed which may or may not be containing the pus. Sometimes blood can also be present in the pimple that leads to the bloody ear discharge. Problems caused by the pimple Pimple in the ear can cause great inconvenience that may become an obstruction during hearing. This generally happens when the pimple gets formed over the ear canal. If the pimple occurs in the ear canal then it can cause great pain, however outer ear pimple is not painful. There are various reasons due to which pimple generally occurs in the ear such as – Due to piercing –During the piercing or after it heavy irritation occurs on the skin that can lead to a small bump over the ear lobe right next to piercing. The wax, dirt as well as oil are considered as the major components that cause irritation as well as lead to the bumps and acne problem. If there is bump then it will lead to the development of pimple and it can also become very painful. Poor Hygiene – The ear is a very sensitive part of the body and it should not be disturbed or poked with the toothpicks, pins or any other sharp objects. This is because if you poke it with any sharp object then it can lead to infection. Also, never make use of dirty earphones and always avoid to borrow or use others headphone. So, do maintain the proper hygiene in order to remain safe from the ear pimples. This pimple can disappear after a week or two but if you want to fasten the process then you should rub alcohol over the pimple, you can also use witch hazel and more.
