The process of liposuction is used to remove excessive weight from different body. Today, almost all body parts are treated with the help of liposuction. However, the most commonly treated body parts include tummy, neck, face, thighs, nose, chin, neck and breast. People trim their bodies with the help of liposuction and achieve the body that they have always envied. Liposuction and Obesity: Obesity is one of the fastest growing health problems in America. Obesity is quickly expanding among developed, developing as well as under developed countries. With obesity come a number of risks and chronic diseases. Research has proved that obesity triggers diabetes, blood pressure and various heart diseases. People always welcome any procedure that provides an easy solution for removal of obesity. Probably, this is the reason why weight loss programs are so popular among public. People see an easy and approachable solution of obesity in the form of liposuction. Some Misconceptions Related to Obesity and Liposuction and Their Reality Check: Myth _ 1 Liposuction is not used for obesity because it is too expensive and is out of the reach of most of the obese people. Reality: Liposuction is an expensive process. But, it does not make it a solid reason to not to be used for obesity cure. Myth _2 Liposuction is a life threatening process, therefore, most of the people choose to live a fat life, rather than die on the table of lipo specialist. Reality: The process of liposuction is a safe process. It does not kill anyone to have a surgery on face, thigh or any other part of the body. However, if an inexperienced, over-the-weekend surgeon performs the process of liposuction, the results could be disastrous. There are cases when inexperienced surgeons caused deformities of different body parts. Myth _ 3 Liposuction can help in weight loss. Reality: Liposuction does not help in reducing weight. In most of the cases, there is a reported increase in the weight (5-8lbs) after successful completion of liposuction, it guarantee you a beautiful healthy body. Why Liposuction Does Not Help in Losing Weight: Liposuction is performed on all parts of the body. However, its main purpose is to give the body parts a desired appearance and shape. People, who despite of extreme diet plans and strict workout sessions do not achieve desired body shape, choose to go for liposuction. According to doctors, when you choose process of liposuction, you do not lose weight. Liposuction is not about losing weight, all that hype related to weight loss, and liposuction is fake and manmade. Most of the people argue that while the surgery was performed, they saw fat floating on the surface of a bowl of water. This is not fat. Grease and oil are floating on the surface of water. rnThe grease and oil that is sucked out of the body weighs less than water. This causes them to float on the surface of water. The solution is also less dense than water. Another fact that support the idea is the unit of measurement used by doctors to measure this solution. Instead of pounds, liters are used to show how much fat was sucked out of the body. In a typical setting 1 - 2 liters of fat are taken out of the body. In some cases, you might lose 5 - 8 pounds of weight. Mostly there is a reported increase of 5 - 10 pounds in body weight. This weight increase is due to swelling and bruising. Secondly, doctors never suggest removing too much weight in one treatment. Liposuction is suggested to those who want to TRIM their body. It is not used to remove body fat. Moreover, obese people contain tons of fat. This fat is either distributed throughout the body or is concentrated in one or more body parts, i.e. fat tummy, legs and thighs. rnRemoving too much fat at a time can endanger life of an individual. Obese people do not have enough strength to bear such a huge fat loss at a time. Their body parts and internal organs are set to work according to a certain fat proportion. Although, this fat is not healthy, it is an essential part of their body. This fat could be removed with other gradual and more constructive surgical process, but liposuction is definitely not an ideal option to help obese people.
