Under eye wrinkles are nothing to be ashamed of; they can sometimes look very appealing and add to the overall character of the person. However, many individuals suffer from excessive appearance of wrinkles on that area of the skin and are looking for solutions to reduce them.

What people mostly do when they decide to treat their wrinkled skin is they go to the nearest store and buy anti-aging creams or obtain them on the internet. While such approach will eventually result in smoother skin and less under eye wrinkles, there are far better options to treat your skin, which will deliver results without any side effects and will cost much less at the end.

1. You should begin your wrinkle treatment with proper hydration. Drinking plenty of water every day will have a tremendous positive effect on your whole body as well as on your skin. Don’t be sparing when it comes to hydration. Consume anywhere between 70 to 90 ounces of water every day. If you spread the amount evenly throughout the day, you will realize that such amount runs out quite quickly.

2. Next, be conscious about what you eat. Proper nutrition is the key to a healthy skin and reduction of under eye wrinkles. It is also important where these nutrients originate from. Vitamins obtained from meat are not by far as beneficial as those obtained from plants. The same applies to minerals, proteins, carbon hydrates, and fat.

Your diet should be well balanced and should mainly consist of vegetables, fruits, legumes, grains, seeds, nuts, natural oils and herbs. It is also important that you eat freshly cooked meals instead of processed and fast food. If you consume all of the foods mentioned above, together with unpasteurized dairy products, than meat, fish and eggs are not necessary at all and are not a recommended part of your diet.

3. Under eye wrinkles can also be reduced by using natural creams, or even better, by using homemade creams and face masks. Some of the top natural remedies that are known to effectively reduce appearance of wrinkles are papaya, mango, pineapple, banana, coconut and grapes.

Take any of these fruits at your preference and mash it. You can add one spoon of honey and mix it well with the fruit. If the mixture seems too dense, than add a bit of milk until you are satisfied with the result. The mask should be easy to apply to the face and should stay there. You can apply the mask on the area where under eye wrinkles form, or on the whole face as well as on your neck. Wash the mask off after about 15 – 30 minutes.
