RELATIONSHIPS
1) It may be better to give than to receive, but it is best to give and receive.
2) Good communication is when a woman talks and a man listens.
3) Do not walk in front of me for I may not follow, do not walk behind me, for I may not lead; walk beside me, hold my hand and be my special friend.
4) In some cultures a man is paid to take a man’s daughter, in some cultures, a man pays to get his woman, and in other cultures a man pays to keep his woman, and finally there are those who pay when they leave.
5) The problem with some relationships is that at first both are givers and then both want to be receivers.
6) The man who gives his woman attention gets tended to.
7) In matters of relationships, couples may do better following the platinum rule (Do unto others as they would have you do unto them).
8) Even the sweetest relationships have bitter aspects.
9) In a relationship it is better to shovel manure than to throw dirt
Relationships, like most things that are important, require both to give one hundred percent. When doing that the odds of success double. Conversely, if both only give fifty percent the odds for relationship success are cut in half.
11) Relationships are like the ocean, they go up and down, back and forth, occasionally it gets rough, at times it’s calm, and over time it goes from hot to cold.
12) Don’t count your relationships but make your relationships count.
13) The deadliest relationship weapon—the tongue.
14) The problem with wanting a relationship without peaks and valleys is that what you see and experience is very limited.
15) Walking side by side is one answer to today’s relationship problems.
16) Relationships work better for grown—ups if they play home rather than play house
