KESAR PULAO

Ingredients:

• 1cup long grain (basmati) Ricern• 1cup Sugar ( according to taste)
• 3-4 Cardamom
• Saffron (kesar)
• 4 clovesrn• 11/2tbsp Mixed Dry fruits (Pista, cashewnut, almond)choppedrn• 1tsp Raisinsrn• Pinch of saffron (kesar)color dissolved in 2tsp warm waterrn• 2 tbsp pure gheern• 1 tbsp mustard seedsrn• Silver paper (varak)

rnHow to make kesar (saffron) rice:

1. Wash soak and drain rice.rn2. Boil water , add the rice and simmer the flame.rn3. When rice is half done add sugar (dissolved in little water) and ghee.rn4. When fully cooked add the saffron, cardamom, cloves and half of the dry fruit.rn5. Stir gently and cover for 10 minutes.rn6. Garnish it with remaining dry fruit and silver paper.rn7. Serve the kesar pulao fresh and hot.

rnGARLIC RICE RECIPE

Ingredients:

• 2 cup cooked ricern• 2 tsp crashed garlicrn• 2 green chillies choppedrn• 2 tblsp cashewnuts (kaju)
• 1 tblsp almonds(badam), slivered.
• 1 tsp chopped fresh corianderrn• 2 tblsp gheern• Salt and pepper to taste

How to make garlic rice:

1. Take a heavy base pan and heat ghee in it.rn2. Add garlic and green chilies to it.rn3. Once the garlic turns golden in color, add the dry fruits and roast for half a minute.rn4. Now add the cooked rice, sprinkle salt and pepper and mix well.rn5. Garnish the Garlic Rice with fresh coriander and serve hot.

INSTANT ONION RICE RECIPE

Ingredients:

• 4 big onionsrn• 2 cardamom (elaichi)
• 1 cup ricern• 1/2 tsp chilly powderrn• Salt to tastern• mustard for seasoningrnHow to make instant onion rice:

1. Heat the pressure pan and then pour oil and season it with mustard seeds and add onions and fry till it becomes transparent in color.rn2. Then add elaichi ,chilly powder,salt and rice with two glasses of water and keep it boiling for fifteen minutes.rn3. Once the rice boils serve it hot with aaloo fry.
