Office 2019 news

It’s official—Office 2019 will be available in the second half of 2018. It will offer an on-premises suite for organizations that do not want their Office applications in the cloud. This perpetual non-subscription release will add IT and server management capabilities for better usability and security. As Mary Jo Foley writes in Office 2019 Coming Next Year, the announcement rasied questions about whether Microsoft would continue to enable perpetual users to connect to Microsoft server products. But Microsoft Office general manager Jared Spataro noted that this “is not the case.”
