If you have ever had athlete's foot or a yeast infection, you can blame a fungus. A fungus is actually a primitive vegetable. Mushrooms, mold and mildew are examples. Fungi live in air, in soil, on plants and in water. Some live in the human body. Only about half of all types of fungi are harmful. Some fungi reproduce through tiny spores in the air. You can inhale the spores or they can land on you. As a result, fungal infections often start in the lungs or on the skin. You are more likely to get a fungal infection if you have a weakened immune system or take antibiotics.

Not all people with risk factors will develop fungal infections. These factors include:
1) Being very young or very old.
2) Douching or using feminine deodorants or scented tampons
3) Suffering from diabetes.
4) Weakened immune system due to such conditions as HIV/AIDS, or taking steroid medications or chemotherapy.
5) Taking strong antibiotics, especially for long periods of time.
6) Wearing tight-fitting underwear, thongs, jeans, or other pants if you are a female
Fungal infection is very common and can be serious if proper treatment is not taken on time. For the treatment of Fungal infection there are medicines are available in the market. Food and Drug Administration has also recommended various medicines for the treatment of fungal infection. The main ingredient of this medicine is Voriconazole. Vfend is an antifungal medicine. It inactivates the fungal cell and prevents fungal biosynthesis. It is used to treat serious fungal infections. Vfend is available in the form of tablets, oral suspension powder and injection powder.
Precaution before taking Vfend 200mg mediciner
Few precaution need to be taken to avoid any serious side effect. Precaution are as follows:-
1) Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to Vfend or to its ingredient.
2) Take this medicine as prescribed by the doctor or health care professional.
3) The patient should be advised to promptly report the adverse reactions.
4) Patients taking this drug should avoid driving and other hazardous activities as Vfend causes visual disturbances and changes.
5) People taking Vfend medicine should avoid direct sunlight in their eyes and should wear protective sunglasses.
6) Patients should wear proper clothing to avoid sunburns as Vfend drug makes the skin sensitive to sunlight.
7) Vfend medication should be given cautiously to patients suffering from renal and hepatic impairment.
Please note that if you are suffering from any liver disease, heart disease and kidney disease, you should inform your doctor before taking Vfend 200mg medicine. Vfend 200mg medicine is not recommended for the use pregnant and breastfeeding mother as use of this medicine by pregnant and breastfeeding mother may harm the health of unborn baby or nursed child. The dosage of the medicine should not increased or decreased on your and should be taken as directed by doctor. The medicine should be taken an hour prior to or after the meals. Keep all medicines away from the reach of children and pet.
