After they hear my personal story of how I rose to a senior executive position with a Fortune 100 company in record time, many of my clients ask how if it’s also possible for them to step up their game and make a lot more money fast.

The answer is yes, but it involves some critically important moves. You have to learn to communicate with influence, and it’s important to develop a dynamic professional presence supported by a consistent leadership brand. You need to spot talent and create high performance teams. But above all it is necessary to remove the internal psychological and emotional obstacles to success that we all have that keep holding us back.

Believe it or not, this is the most challenging part of the formula. The biggest barrier to professional and career success is not the economy or the competition – it’s our own internal mindset.

Unfortunately many people remain stuck because they don’t DO anything to change how they think about themselves. They look for complex solutions and pay for complicated methods while the real answer they need to hear and understand can be distilled down to two simple steps:
You have to make a decision to advance in life.
You then have to do what it takes to make that happen.
Most professionals never develop a crystal clear concept of what they want from their careers and personal lives, and without that level of understanding, insight, and focus they will never be able to fully commit to achieving it.

I can help them map out their goal

We all have ambitious career aspirations and want a higher salary. But deeply rooted self-limiting belief systems and fear of the future conspire to continually sabotage success. The doors of opportunity open and the promotions become available, but decisive action is hampered. Drive and motivation is diluted. Confidence and commitment is undermined.

As I tell my personal clients, if you set a BIG goal, your BEHAVIOR and MINDSET have to also change in MAJOR ways to enable you to reach that goal.

I know about self sabotage from experience. Once it happened early in my career. Although I had a chance to advance and gain promotions my own lack of initiative and confidence to seize the day held me back until later, when I finally decided to take some risk and make the leap. Years later it happened again as I begin to dream of starting my own entrepreneurial business. But I hesitated. The other day I was thinking back and realized that I lost four years of higher salary due to nothing more than my own inaction and inertia.

Instead of taking the opportunity when it was presented to me, guess what? I was immobilized and did nothing, becoming my own obstacle to immediate success!

Three main things held me back:
Insecurity about venturing out on my own.
My belief that I wasn’t knowledgeable enough to run a business.
A personal fear of failure.
Those three mental blocks kept me from four years of higher income! We all have to learn tough lessons in life, and I interpret that loss of four years worth of returns as tuition in the school of life. But the good news is that now I am also able to wake up every day and pursue my true passion, sharing what I have learned with people like you who are also ready to play their biggest game.

Here’s my secret: You must understand that the inspiring ideas given to you are not random or accidental. I believe that the universe divinely bestows opportunities. Universal law says that any inspiration that comes to you also comes with the resources to achieve that dream. Those thoughts and ideas would not be percolating inside you unless there were also guiding you toward the realization of your personal vision. Ideas don’t just come to us, they come THROUGH us, and when we remove the negativity that clouds our minds and weakens our resolve then those thoughts are able to come through loud and clear to trigger magic.
