Many psychics today claim it is a talent that all humans have and it only needs to be developed to show results.
Telepathy is a skill that has been used by humans for thousands of years. Some have suggested that it was used by ancient humans to communicate before they developed spoken language and that dolphins still demonstrate such communication with each other today. Studies suggest that the power of telepathy comes from the vibrations of brain waves. It is these physical vibrations that allow the mind to connect with another mind without the need for spoken forms of language.
So a simple definition of telepathy is that it is the ability to use your mind to communicate without verbal communication. It is a skill that few people realize they possess and, therefore, very few people develop the skills to use it effectively. This form of mind communication has been recorded in use throughout human history, so some people have known about the skills involved and been sensitive to their development. Even governments and police forces have been said to have used this form of mental communication where all other attempts have failed.
An often cited telepathic skill is where you may have been thinking of someone and they call you or turn up at your door. Another is when you may say or write exactly the same thing as somebody else at the same time. Another example is where somebody is able to know what particular item someone has chosen or picture they have drawn without having had the chance to see. These are all latent skills which everyone has probably had some experience of. Each of these, and more, can be developed to a much higher level of proficiency and practical function.
In order to properly develop the latent skills of telepathy which are within us all it is important to recognize these ways that the talent already shows itself. These skills can then be focused on and developed. Learning the skills involves great focus and concentration in order to bring to the front of the mind what has been buried by modern life and language. You need to be sensitive to what is already inside you rather than worry about learning something new.
