Some ways to get good health

None of us want to fall ill. When we fall ill, we have a lot of trouble, we also have to bear the expenses from above. We do not like anything. Neither can we go to school, nor to the workplace. Far from earning money, we cannot even help the family. On the contrary, they may have to take care of us. Moreover, many times it costs a lot of money to get treatment and buy medicines.

It is said that it is better to take precautions than to get treatment so that we do not get sick. Admittedly, we cannot avoid many diseases. But we can take some such steps, which can reduce the risk of disease by adopting it and in many cases we may not have the disease. Let us consider five such things, keeping in mind that you can get a good health.

 1. Take care of cleanliness

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare believes that "the best way to prevent disease and prevent it from spreading" is to wash your hands. There are germs on dirty hands and when we wipe the nose with dirty hands or rub our eyes, diseases like colds and flu are easily spread. The best way to avoid such diseases is to wash your hands from time to time. If we take good care of cleanliness, then we can avoid serious diseases like pneumonia and diarrhea, due to which about 2 million children under the age of 5 die every year. Even a deadly disease like Ebola can be prevented to a great extent by just washing your hands.

It is very important to wash your hands on many occasions, keeping in mind your own and others' health, such as:

  • After going to the toilet.

  • After changing the diaper or after taking the child to the toilet.

  • Before and after applying the medicine to the wound or injury.

  • Before and after meeting a sick person.

  • Before cooking, serving and eating.

  • After sneezing, coughing, and clearing the nose.

  • After touching the animals and their feces.

  • After throwing garbage.

Do you feel that you wash your hands well? Consider this. Statistics show that many people do not clean their hands after using government toilets and even if they do, they do not wish them well. So the question arises that how should you wash your hands?

  • Apply water on hands and then apply soap.

  • Rub both your hands until they become foamy, and don't forget to clean your fingernails, thumbs, back of hands and between fingers.

  • Keep doing this for about 20 seconds.

  • Then wash your hands with clean running water.

  • Wipe hands with clean towels or tissue paper.

Perhaps we find these things minor, but by accepting them diseases will spread less and many lives can be saved.

 2. Use clean water

In many countries, clean water is not available easily, so people have to make arrangements for clean water for their families every day. But in countries where this problem is not there, it can be difficult to get clean water due to floods, thunderstorms, water pipe breakdown or any other reason. If the water is not coming from a clean place or is not kept well, it can cause bugs in our stomach and we can get cholera, lethal diarrhea, typhoid, hepatitis, and other diseases. Due to a lack of clean drinking water, about 170 crore people become diarrhea victims every year.

We can take some steps that can improve our health and in many cases, we may not have diseases for a long time.

Cholera is usually spread with water or food that is contaminated with the feces of a person suffering from cholera. Here are some steps you can take to avoid the diseases that are usually spread by water or spread after a flood or earthquake.

  • Keep in mind that drinking water and the water with which you clean your teeth, freeze ice, clean fruits, and vegetables and utensils and cook, should be clean, whether it is cleaned by the municipality Gone or the bottled water of a good company.

  • If you feel that the water coming from the municipality has been contaminated, then boil the water before using it and put medicine in it and clean it.

  • When you use chlorine or any other medicine to clean the water, add it in the right amount.

  • If possible, buy a filter of good quality water.

  • Always keep the water covered in clean utensils so that it does not get dirty.

  • Always use a clean utensil to drain water from the pitcher or a pot.

  • Wash hands before filling or taking water in the vessel and do not put hands or fingers in drinking water.

 3. Pay attention to your food and drink

For good health, you need to eat nutritious food. Make sure that your food contains the right amount of salt, smoothness and sweetness and that you do not eat excessively. Eat a variety of fruits and vegetables. When buying things like bread, cereals, noodles and rice, pay attention to the information on their packets. Peeled grains are better for health than things made with fine flour. As far as protein in food is concerned, if you eat meat and fish, eat only a little meat without lard and if possible, eat two to three times a week. In many countries, a lot of things are found for vegetarian people, which contain protein.

Eating sweet and greasy food increases the risk of becoming obese. So drink water instead of drinking syrup and a cold drink. Instead of eating something sweet, eat more fruit. Do not eat in large quantities such as meat, butter, cakes, cheese, and biscuits, which have smoothness. Instead of using things like butter, vegetable ghee for cooking, use oil that is beneficial for health.

Taking too much salt in food can increase blood pressure (blood pressure), which is harmful to health. If your blood pressure is high, then look at the information on the packet while buying food items and see how much salt they contain.

What you eat affects your health, but how much you eat also matters a lot. Enjoy food, but eat it as much as you are hungry.

If food is not prepared properly or is not kept properly, then health can worsen. It was told in a magazine that due to food spoilage, people fall ill and many people also die. To avoid such a disease, you can take the following steps.

  • Where vegetables have been grown, manure may have been added, so wash them thoroughly before cooking.

  • Before cooking, wash your hands thoroughly with hot water and soap instead of the dish on which you cut the vegetables.

  • If a raw egg or raw meat or fish was kept in a vessel, then keep the food in it after washing it.

  • Cook the food well. If you are not going to eat perishable things at the same time, keep them in the refrigerator immediately.

  • If perishable things are kept out for two hours, throw them away. If the temperature is above 32 degrees and the food is kept outside for an hour, throw it away.

 4. Do exercises

Regardless of your age, you should exercise every day to stay fit. Nowadays many people do not exercise as much as they should. Why is it important to workout? You will get these benefits by exercising:

  • You will sleep well

  • You will not have any problems with walking.

  • Your muscles and bones will remain strong.

  • You will not be overweight.

  • It is possible that you will not be a victim of despair.

  • It is possible that you will live long.

You can get these diseases by not exercising :

  • Heart disease can occur.

  • Sugar can be a disease (type 2 diabetes).

  • Blood pressure may increase.

  • Cholesterol may increase.

  • Stroke may occur.

Depending on your age and health, what type of workout you should do. Therefore, before starting a workout, you should consult your doctor whether such a workout will be right for you or not. Many experts say that children and young people should exercise for at least 60 minutes every day and elders should do at least 150 minutes of light-weight workout or 75 minutes every week.

To do a workout you can do something that you enjoy, such as playing basketball, tennis or football, cycling, gardening, chopping wood, swimming, rowing, running or any other type of workout. How can you find out if you are doing a light workout or a good workout? If you are doing a light workout, you will start sweating, but if you are exercising well, it will be very difficult for you to interact with anyone along with exercising.

 5 Get plenty of sleep

All people sleep according to their needs. Newborn children often sleep 16 to 18 hours every day, children between 1 and 3 years sleep 14 hours, and children aged 3 to 4 sleep 11 to 12 hours. School going children should sleep at least 10 hours, teenage children should sleep for 9 to 10 hours and elders should sleep for 7 to 8 hours.

Do not take the matter of rest lightly. Experts say that it is important to get a good sleep because of it:

  • Children and young people developmental and physical development.

  • We are able to learn new things and remember them.

  • The right balance of hormones remains in the body, which has an effect on digestion and weight.

  • The risk of heart disease may be reduced.

  • We can survive many diseases.

It has been found that lack of sleep has resulted in obesity, depression, diabetes, heart disease, and accidents. This explains why it is so important to have a good sleep.

What can you do if you can't sleep or can't sleep? Try some of the methods below.

  • Try to sleep and get up on time every day.

  • Try that where you sleep, there are peace and darkness and the room is neither too cold nor too hot.

  • When you go to sleep, do not watch TV nor use mobile, etc.

  • Make the bed comfortable.

  • Do not eat too much before bed, do not drink tea-coffee or alcohol.

  • If after applying these tips, you still do not sleep or sleep during the day or have trouble breathing while sleeping, see a doctor.
