Must know fact of SONICTENS
SONICTENS head emits ultrasound waves and also act as a second electrode of TENS therapy.
Hence at particular pain point, Ultrasound and TENS in physiotherapy can be applied at a time.
Ultrasound is a deep heat therapy that releases ultrasonic waves. On the other side, TENS machine releases massaging electrical pulses that increase the endorphin -the body’s natural painkiller.
The combination of these two therapies provides faster, effective and drug-free pain relief from ailments such as arthritis, sciatica, back pain, neck pain, ankle pain, wrist pain and much more.
The URICE Method
Ultrasound with physiotherapy TENS, Rest, Ice, Compress & Elevate
We’ve discovered that using cold therapy in combination with SONICTENS speeds healing and reduce pain FAST!
Follow this daily pain management treatment for new injuries and you’ll be well on your way to a happier, pain-free life:
Step 1: Ultrasound with TENS (10-15 min)
Use ultrasound with TENS machine physiotherapy to treat the affected area for 10-15 minutes daily.
Step 2: Rest (frequently)
For new injuries, you must have to sit & lie down as much as possible. Even with old injuries or aches and pains that you’re trying to cure, you need to allow your body to rest.
It is during these times of rest that your body is working hard at repairing itself. Sometimes the best thing for your injury is doing nothing. So, let your body’s natural healing process get over so “give it a rest.”
Step 3: Ice (10-20 min)
Cold Therapy. Chill your Ultracool Pack and apply for 10-20 minutes, once or twice a day, to reduce local swelling and pain of new injuries.
Step 4: Compress (10-20 min)
Using an elastic medical bandage, wrap the area to help decrease swelling and internal bleeding (if present). The wrap should be comfortable but make sure you have proper circulation. Some sign that the bandage is too tight include numbness, tingling, increased pain, coolness or swelling.
Step 4: Elevate (often)
When sitting or lying down, you should try to elevate your injury above heart level, if possible. The elevation helps decrease and prevents further swelling. Raise the affected limb as often as possible.
In total, treating with SONICTENS & cold therapy will take you only 20-35 minutes a day. So next time you’re sitting down to watch a TV show, take out your SONICTENS device & cold pack and heal the injury while relaxing at home!
