Right now we see the oceans polluted and filled with plastic. But even thousands of years ago in spiritual texts, we were told to care for the planet.

Sai Baba said: “Whosoever worships the Supreme Lord should also worship Nature. He should love and adore Nature because Nature is not different from the Supreme Self. Nature is the effect and God is the Cause.”

We are to care for nature as if nature were God Himself.

Paramahansa Yogananda said: “Harmony with nature will bring you happiness known to few city dwellers. In the company of other truth seekers it will be easier for you to meditate and think of God.”

If nature disappears how will we see God stretching out before us? God is in all things… thus we are to care for nature as if nature were God Himself.

Hsuan Hua (Buddhist Teacher) said: “Buddhism regards all living creatures as being endowed with the Buddha nature and the potential to become Buddhas. That's why Buddhism teaches us to refrain from killing and to liberate creatures instead.”

See God in every sunrise, see God in every sunset, see God in every flower, and thus care for God in all of nature.

Albert Einstein said: “Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.”

Nature is giving, caring, and nurturing and thus we are to nurture Mother Nature.

John Muir (The Naturalist Who Pushed to Create National Parks) said: “In every walk in nature one receives much more than he seeks.”

Nature is healing, we even have books written about Nature Deprivation and how this disease is affecting our children. It’s important that we care for nature so nature will care for us.

Frank Lloyd Wright (The Great Nature Architect) said: “Study nature, love nature, stay close to nature, it will never fail you.”

Living in accordance with nature we would not have any challenges. The fact that we have gone outside of nature and see ourselves as more important than nature… which has brought us to this place now.

Ansel Adams (The Great Nature Photographer) said: “I believe the world is incomprehensibly beautiful… an endless prospect of magic and wonder.”

How are we to awaken our spirit without nature? Nature gives us so much… and we give nature so little. It’s time we learned to care for nature… and not take nature for granted.

Dr. Paul Haider said: “Do what you can to care for nature every single day. Even a drop of water over time can fill an ocean. Be the drop… time will take care of the rest.”

Many Blessings to Everyone!
