Spring Equinox

Let's celebrate the Spring Equinox today, March 20. It is the first day of Spring. The sun's position is directly over the Earth's equator. All things are equal as day is the same length as night.
Spring Equinox is also called Vernal Equinox which is Latin for "of spring" and "equal night." Whatever you choose to call the first day of Spring let's enjoy Mother Nature as she begins to bloom all around us in luscious colors.
The Sun shifts into pioneering Aries, the first sign of the zodiac, on the day of the Spring Equinox. It is a natural time for us to emerge from the constraints and darkness of winter. As Goddess Gaia nurtures us with her vivid blooms we too burst forth into new beginnings with joy.
New Beginnings
New Beginnings are here and now as we begin the season of Spring. Whether it is a new season in our life or we are simply focused on living in the here and now moment, let's begin anew.
Everyday is a new day, a new opportunity to begin again. In order to do so you need to let go of the past. With new beginnings we embrace all that is possible today.
All we have is this moment and our breath. The breath is life, the life of spirit within us ever calling out for new beginnings again.
Honor Goddess Gaia
Honor Goddess Gaia as the earth goddess that she is, according to the ancient Greek religion. She is a living being who loves and nurtures us organically in so many ways. All that we need to do is receive her loving mother energy that she so freely shares with us all on planet earth.
When we appreciate the fertility of earth with the variety of trees, flowers, fruits, vegetation, grasses, mountains, water and other natural resources we honor Goddess Gaia. As the embodiment of the Sacred Feminine she is also known as Mother Earth, Earth Mother and Mother Nature.
Honor Goddess Gaia by respecting and caring for her well-being. Through awareness and gentleness let our hearts lead the way. She will show us how we can serve her if we listen to her as we meditate. Be open to receive her message through intuition.

Meditation Classes
Maureen teaches meditation classes using simple guided imagery and channels spiritual guidance for the group, which is uplifting. Each person is able to ask a personal question at the end of the meditation and receive specific spiritual guidance for their life journey. The energy during the meditation is very loving, compassionate and nurturing which is healing in itself.
Intuitive Readings & Spiritual Guidance
Intuitive Readings are based on the client's questions about relationships, career issues, emotional issues, health, attitudes and beliefs, loved ones who have passed on and more. Maureen goes into a meditative state where she accesses specific guidance in answer to the questions being asked. The channeled information she receives during an intuitive reading is spiritual, yet very practical. After a reading with Maureen, individuals feel more relaxed, reassured and more positive about their lives.
Reiki Training & Reiki Healing
In September 1992 Maureen received her first degree Reiki training. After years of practicing Reiki healing in small groups, workshops, centers, and retreats throughout the United States, Maureen received her second degree Reiki and Reiki Master Degree in August 1999.
