Stability chambers are the test chambers used to test novel drugs, vaccines and other new products to determine their stability and shelf life. They are used extensively in the medical and pharmaceutical industry to check the stability of newly synthesized drugs and vaccines under varying conditions of illumination and temperature.

The inner chamber of these equipments is almost always made up of stainless steel, whereas the outer chamber may feature steel or other resistant and non-corrosive materials.

They provide controlled environmental conditions of temperature, illumination and humidity to maintain an appropriate environment for growth and germination of seeds. These chambers are also used for micro propagation of plants and research involving microorganisms, cells and tissues.
