Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Examination

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is an efficient commission set up by the government of India. It works for the welfare of the country by recruiting capable individuals in government departments by conducting exams and interviews. SSC deals with the recruitment of candidates for the non-technical posts in various departments of the government. Staff Selection Commission conducts examinations combined graduate level exams for candidates who wish to enter into various public sector companies and government organizations. In 2011, combined higher secondary exam will be conducted for the posts of data entry operator and lower division clerks. The minimum eligibility criterion is 12th standard pass. The examination will consist of a objective type written test which will be followed by a data entry test/ typing test. A candidate only within the age group of 18 to 27 years can apply for this combined higher secondary exam
