Stop Thinking & Get Rich!

Gosh… The amount of time I spend thinking about what to do next!!!! So much time spent in thought and so little time spent in action and guess what gets results? Not the thinking, I can tell you that right now. OK, maybe I exaggerate – There is a little room for thinking – you have to do SOME planning and a little organising and thinking through your next move. For sure you do… But the kind of thinking I have been known to do at times, is just debilitating… I find myself thinking of all the ‘what ifs?’ I find myself thinking of all the ‘will it works?’ I find myself CONVINCING MYSELF that it is essential that I think everything through before I put anything out there in the world. It has to be just perfect or else no one will buy… And on top of that, I will look like an idiot as well! I have to be sure, certain, absolutely convinced that something is going to work before I put it out there, right? WRONG! I need none of that and frankly, I can find none of that while I think up a storm. All I find when I retreat into OVER THINKING mode is more things to think about… More reasons to delay… More reasons to keep hiding out and waiting for the god of clarity to come whack me upside the head and get me into action. Because, honey, it is always the action that saves the day. ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS! One ounce of action can give you and I more clarity than twenty ounces of thinking, ever will. And, okay, I do not think we must give up thinking all together, of course I don’t I start every freaking day with some jou aling, reflecting, meditating etc! And all of that can be considered a form of thinking though I see it as a more DELIBERATE form of thinking. But after that, I choose to get into action. Into solid, productive, life-changing action because no amount of thinking can replace me putting my ideas, my abilities, my strengths into the world in order to serve someone in some way. All the answers I look for in the thinking and over thinking can be found when I show up in the marketplace and actually work with someone to get a result they want. I can then find out more about my people… I can find out more about what they want a result in… I can find out how to position myself to get more and more success… And most of all, I can live out my calling by actually LIVING OUT MY CALLING! Fairly obvious, right? And yet, how much time is spent THINKING? How many capable, seemingly successful people are trapped in a hell of their own making as they refuse to take that first step to success? And years go by and their dreams fade as they do nothing, absolutely NOTHING to make the dream happen – but hey, they thought a lot about it! I was trapped for a long time and thankfully, I escaped and there is still room to reduce the time I spend in thinking… I want to be a person that just gets an idea and acts on it immediately and then assesses result after the action. Rather than trying to guess what the outcome will be. There is no clarity on the fence. And this need to think and over think things is one KEY reason why dreams do not come to pass, why entrepreneurs do not hit the big figure income they dream of and so therefore stay in a job that pay okay, give them some status but is definitely not what they want out of life.
