Researchers have done large studies over Symptoms of Migraine Headaches and have concluded many over years. Migraines are severe headaches that usually have pounding, throbbing or shock like pain. Other symptoms include sensitivity to light and to sound, Changes in vision, nausea and vomiting are also common signs of Migraine Headaches. The most common symptoms identified by migraineur are:

1. Sensitivity to light and noise.
2. Numbness.
3. Speech difficulty.
4. Nausea and vomiting.

The above given symptoms may vary from person to person. Migraines sometimes go undiagnosed as people ignore them in initial stages, leading to even more suffering for the people with this condition. The only reason is lack of knowledge about the symptoms of Migraine Headaches. But one must know what the Migraine headaches symptoms to eliminate this in initial stages only.

Imbalances in the body chemical serotonin have been identified as a root cause of Migraine Headache pains. A higher level of serotonin causes blood vessels to shrink while lower level causes blood vessels to expand. It is this expansion which causes actions in the brain leading to Migraine Headaches. On the other hand, there are basically two main types of Migraines:

1. Classic migraines: also known as migraines with aura and
2. Common migraines: also known as migraines without aura.

Aura takes the form of visual disturbances such as speck, flashes, blind spots, dots and other similar conditions. There are some people who experience aura during the initial stage of a Migraine attack, before full blown symptoms occur. The Migraine pain would probably last from hours to even days. Too much sweating even if you are just sitting around, frequent urination and too much light and noise sensitivity are some of the additional symptoms for some people experiencing Migraine Headaches.

You need to talk to your doctor about your symptoms and what may be triggering them. You doctor may run a couple tests to rule out other conditions. You should try to keep calm and seek help. You can prevent Migraine Headaches by keeping an eye on what you do and eat as well as on your sleeping habits.
