What does Stonehenge have to offer?
This is an ancient site that goes back more than 5000 years. It is a ring of 40 ton stones that till date has been a cause for speculation. It is engineering expertise that should fascinate one and all where stones weighing tonnes were used in the construction in historical times using primitive tools.

Getting to Stonehenge from London
Stonehenge is just a two hour non-stop drive from London, which takes you to the different sites of Stonehenge. There are different tours that leave London during the seasons taking you to Stonehenge. There are half day tours in the morning and afternoons which leave from the Victoria Coach Station. They leave around 8.15 am and come back at 1.30 pm. The afternoon tour leaves around 2 pm and returns at 7.30 pm. This tour operates from 1st April to 15th October.
In the winter months there is only the afternoon tours operating from 16th October to 31st March. When you are there you should not miss visiting the exhibition, the gift shop and the Stonehenge monument with the burial mound. You can sure grab a cup of coffee while you visit the henge.
Arranging the Tour Reservations
The tour can be booked at the main Victoria departure point. There is a banner which gives the prices for the tour. The main travel hubs in Central London are the Victoria Coach Station where you can board for your tour. It is close to the railway station as well as the Victoria Underground. You can always book your tour online which accepts major credit and debit cards and sends you a confirmation.
When you join for the tour all that your require is the reference to the booking and the name of the person who has booked.
