Most people think that to lose weight, one should just concentrate on the foods he or she eats. However, if you really want to lose weight effectively and quickly, you should watch your drinking habits! Although the foods you take will add to your overall daily calories, the drinks you consume also contribute! This means that your drinks can also be a reason you are not losing weight! There are actually many liquids and drinks which contain a high amount of calories which will cause you to accumulate as fats when you consume too much of them!

The following are some healthy drinks you can take without causing yourself to gain more excess and unwanted body fat.

The first will be fat free milk. Milk is high in calcium and this can help stimulate fat loss by breaking down the fat cells present in your body. However, take note that only milk which is low in fat can help increase the rate of fat loss.

Secondly, you should drink more ice cold water. If you were to drink eight to ten glasses of cold water each day, you will burn an extra several hundred calories daily! This is because when you drink cold water, your body will burn calories in order to heat the cold water back up to your body temperature. Therefore, you should drink at least eight to ten glasses of cold water each day so as to increase your metabolic rate.

Research has also shown that you will burn up to 40 per cent more fat simply by drinking 3 to 5 cups of green tea on a daily basis. Green tea contains very little calories and will help to increase your metabolic rate and help you lose weight faster than other beverages are able to. Additionally, it also contains healthy antioxidants which are great for your health and skin. Taking a cup of green tea about half an hour before your meals can help to increase your metabolic rate as well as help you consume less food. Other healthy alternatives like black tea are fine too.

Next, coconut water is also awesome for losing weight! Most people do not know this, but coconut water contains many more electrolytes than other energy drinks! This means that it can provide your body with energy so you can find that you can work out more intensely. The best part about coconut water is that, unlike energy drinks, does not contain artificial flavorings and sugar!
