One of the most essential steps in healing and recovery is to take back your personal Creator given power. First, you must come to the realization that taking back your personal power is possible and necessary. Realize that the only person you can change is yourself. You have the ability to never be any ones victim ever again. Claim your victory!
Victor or victim, it is your choice. You and you alone have this power of choice for yourself. No one else can do this journey for you. This truth applies in all situations from domestic violence, sexual abuse, eating disorders, and substance abuse. In order to make this decision to become a living connected ray of Creator light much internal work must be accomplished. Most abuse victims have a very low level of self-esteem; usually fear is also a component. Every person is always connected to our Creator. Find your connection for you must know and feel that you are a beautiful, radiant creation worthy of all good things in the world. You must seek to rebuild your self- esteem for you must believe that you are worth saving in order to do the necessary work. Every one of us is a part of the interconnected and always connected Creator Light. We all have a birthright of peace, prosperity, joy, harmony and most important- love. We all need to reclaim this “Divine Birthright” if we have not done so already. It is their waiting for each one of us to reclaim. Once again it is our choice.
Once the choice for self preservation and self-love has been made for your highest good and the highest good of all it is time to begin taking back your life. The choice for victory against any form of oppression is necessary. It is time to start taking the physical actions necessary to achieve victory. In a domestic violence situation- it is time to leave. The best way to accomplish this move is with a support group and another place to live for you and your children. Today safe houses exist that will house battered women and their children and provide the necessary psychological and other services necessary to help the battered woman regain her sense of self- worth as well as provide job skill training in order to make sure the woman or man can pay their bills and support their families as a single person. Seek these services when you realize that your situation has become hazardous to your existence. It is a good idea to do the homework before you make the move so that the support including a police escort to get your belongings if necessary is already in place. No human has the right to abuse any other human. This is automatically a situation that must be left behind for a better world for the one being abused.
In the situation of eating disorders, low self-self esteem is also a player in the situation. Most of the women I’ve known that have lived through and survived eating disorders are extremely intelligent and are high achievers. These diseases will kill you unless you take back your power. I recommend psychological help as a means to determine what actually started the destructive self inflicted behavior. It may be a variety of reasons. All of these reasons must be explored and food must now always be honored for the sustenance it provides for the physical body. Using an eating disorder as a method of weight loss is dangerous.
We can choose to live in Heaven here on Mother Earth now or we can choose the alternative. Our Creator still loves us and does not judge us no matter what we decide. Our Earth truly is a free will planet. We create our “tomorrows”, individually and collectively, with each and every thought, word, deed and emotion that colors our “now” moments of today.
