Testicular Pain Should be Aware of These Diseases

When it comes to testicular pain, many people think that only when they are injured, the pain will appear. Some diseases, like epididymitis, prostatitis, etc. can also induce symptoms of testicular pain. 1. Epididymitis
Epididymitis has two types: acute and chronic. The clinical symptoms are different when epididymitis occurs. The incidence of acute epididymitis is caused by a bacterial infection. It often occurs on one side of the patient. And the scrotum will rapidly swell with pain, and male testicular pain may radiate to the lower abdomen and groin, severe patients will appear shiver, fever, nausea, and vomiting. Chronic epididymitis is aseptic. The patient will have swelling and discomfort of testis and scrotum, and the disease will recur.
2. Prostatitis
Prostatitis is a common male disease. Many men do not pay attention to the protection of the prostate, resulting in this disease. When men have prostatitis, there will be noticeable swelling and pain in the perineum, scrotum, and prostate area, accompanied by anxiety. Prostate and vas deferens connect male testis and epididymis. When suffering from prostatitis, it will bring a particular influence to epididymis and testis, causing testicular pain.
3. Testicular torsio
When the testicle is twisted, if we don't take reasonable treatment measures in time, it will bring harm to the testicle. Testicular torsion usually occurs in young people, especially when doing strenuous exercise. 4. Varicocele
The patients with this disease are generally young and middle-aged. When they are sick, they will have scrotal distention, prominent pain, and falling enlargement in some parts, especially when standing for a long time and are overworked, and the symptoms will disappear when they lie down and rest. Varicocele can damage testicular function, reduce semen quality, and lead to male infertility. Mild varicocele does not need special treatment. If the condition is serious, surgery is necessary.

To find out the cause of testicular pain, to carry out symptomatic treatment, especially to be aware of orchitis, which is generally related to virus infection. Orchitis usually occurs in children, especially in the ten days after mumps onset, there will be scrotal distention and pain, resulting in male infertility. Besides, we should reduce the time of stationary, stand up, and move for 10 minutes every hour, protect testicles, and prevent injuries. When testicular pain occurs, we should choose a regular hospital for treatment.
If there are clinical symptoms of testicular pain, go directly to the hospital for relevant examination to determine the cause. During testicular pain, patients also need proper care. For example, in dressing, they should avoid wearing tight underwear. In a personal diet, avoid eating stimulating food in a short time. In terms of personal hygiene, to prevent infection, it is recommended to clean the private place every night.
