I’m sure you’ve heard of the Law of Attraction, yes? “Thoughts become things” is a popular saying today. But here’s the thing … this is especially true for those of us with heart-centered businesses. You as a conscious business owner must be aware of your thoughts, feelings and actions and use them to propel your business forward.

And here’s the most important thing… it’s one thing to get the Law of Attraction on an intellectual level and it’s a whole other thing to really have this energy working for you and bringing you the business success you desire.

So I want you to walk with me for a moment here: Close your eyes and sink deeply into wherever you are. No more “doing.” Notice with gratitude that beautiful energy shift that happens as you turn inward. Take three slow deep breaths inward and outward, connecting with your greater Source energy. Make a declaration for your business, “I choose success, prosperity and to act to serve my business’ dire need.”

Now think about what it is like to be in your business up until now. (Tip: If you don’t have a business or are in the development stage, think about what this would be like.)

What has been working so far?

If things don’t seem to be working well, most likely your innermost desires and your outer operations aren’t in synch. So if you’re like most of us, your level of frustration and confusion are leading you to wonder if you are doing the right thing.

There are reasons for that!

In your heart, you know you are meant to be in the passion of your business. While you may not have the full picture, it’s probably been bubbling for awhile. So you’re spending hours researching on the computer and believing that now you’re in business. And you really just can’t understand why your business isn’t prospering…when you are doing all of these “things”.

So what is the shift that’s needed to go from being in busy-ness to being in business?

Your dire need must become everything. This is whatever your business needs to continue to move forward and thrive.

Is it more clients? Is it more income? Is it support team members?

What is it for you right now?

Whatever it is – all other “bigger” ideas must be put on hold FOR NOW, not FOR EVER (one of my favorite EnergyRICHisms). Any energy you are out-putting that does not IMMEDIATELY serve your business’ dire need must be put on hold. Now.

And then you want to create an Aligned Action Plan. This is a 30-Day Business Plan that has energetical and practical components. You want to welcome in that beautiful blend of inner work and the outer aspects of being in business. You’ll want to look at what is working and what isn’t and make adjustments to your plan based on what you notice. Just ask yourself, “Where is my energy on a day to day and even moment to moment basis?” What must I let go in order to be able to be in action and achieve my goals?

You are 100% responsible for where your business is today and where it grows to be. You CAN’T blame the economy, people’s attitudes or even the time of year. Your desires will be fulfilled putting into action an inner-outer plan and being energetically responsible.

Become passionate about how you are focusing your thoughts, feelings and moving them into actions.

Instead of beating yourself up about what isn’t working, look for the LEARNING. Anything that doesn’t seem to be working is an opportunity for perseverance.
