The 3 Most Important Aspects to Check When Buying a Condominium
Written by Maryann Wilson
When you make up your mind to purchase a condominium in the city of Singapore in order to make it your home, there are a number of critically important aspects that you must consider while making the decision. If you are able to consider these aspects well before choosing and purchasing the condominium, it will be of great help to you in helping you to lead a luxurious life in the city. So, what are these critically important aspects that you must consider before buying a condominium in the city?
LocationWell, the location of the condominium complex is undoubtedly the most important aspect that must be considered when purchasing one in the city. The location of the complex must be suited to help you travel to the very important locations like your workplace, schools and other educational institutions for your children, marketplaces and shopping areas, hospitals, etc. This will help you a great deal in living the ideal life in the city.
Good connectivity to the many popular places in the city through expressways, MRT stations, buses, etc. can also help to a great extent in this regard. Hence, a location in the city that offers most (if not all) of these features can be considered as the ideal location to purchase a condominium.
Size of the condo unitThe size of the condominium unit you wish to purchase would greatly depend on the number of members you have in the family. If you have a small family, a studio apartment or a 1-bedroom condo might suffice, but if you have more members in the family, you might have to opt for the bigger 2-bedroom or 3-bedroom condo units. Moreover, you must also check the floor-size of the entire unit. After all, it is futile to purchase a 3-bedroom condo unit if the rooms are too small for you to use effectively.
There is another thing that you must remember in this aspect. Always keep the future in mind when deciding about the size of the condominium apartment. If you have a settled family, this might not be much of an issue, but if you are expecting to have kids in the future, you might want to bring that under consideration. After all, condominium units in properties like the North Park Residences Singapore and similar others are going to be big investments which you might not be able to make a second time in the next few years (unless you are extremely rich)!
PriceThis is a very important aspect that you must consider before you purchase the unit. Questions that you need to ask yourself in this regard are whether the price is justified for the features and facilities that are being offered to you and are there any other properties in the area being offered at lesser prices. If you find that the price is justified for the condominium unit on offer, you can certainly go ahead and make your investment on the condominium in complexes like the North Park Residences Yishun Central and other similar areas.

Why Some Buildings Just Feel Safer—And What’s Behind It
Sometimes, it’s not what you see, but what you feel. Ever notice how some buildings just feel solid? No creeping unease. No instinct telling you to check for the nearest exit. Just a quiet, unshakable sense that you’re in a place built to protect. That feeling isn’t random. It’s the result of smart choices—ones made long before anyone steps inside.
