Now here's a shocker: The cast of Jersey Shore have announced that they will call it quits after the sixth seaason!

Yep, It’s true! MTV has broke the news today that the upcoming sixth season of The Jersey Shore will be the last season for  Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Paul “Pauly D” DelVecchio, Deena Cortese,  Jennifer “JWoww “Farley, Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Vinny Guadagnino.

Snooki even posted, “Yes, sadly it's true. This upcoming season of Jersey Shore will be our last. But it was fricken INSANE. I will always love my roomies!”

However, I think that fans shouldn’t worry as I’ve got a feeling that they’ll still be seeing a lot of them.

Not long ago, it was rumored that the upcoming sixth season of Jersey Shore might be the last one! And guess what! The rumors were true!

However, I must say that this was kinda expected with you know Snooki becoming a mother over the weekend and The Situation checking into a rehab earlier this year.

Nonetheless, this will not be the last we’ll see of the “Jersey Shore” gang. The spin-off show, “Snooki & JWoww,” has been renewed for a second season.

And there is more… The Entertainment Weekly also reported that MTV executives have planned a Jersey Shore retrospective special called “Gym, Tan, Look Back” adding that they will be also open to a Snooki and Jionni wedding special!

So, while the end is near, there's still one more season for the series.  The  Jersey Shore gang's final season takes place in Seaside Heights, N.J., where it all began. Can't wait to see what happens.

Nonetheless, here are some reasons why you might miss 'Jersey Shore':

The way they talk. Their strange expression. Admit it even if you hate the show, have you ever used one of the terms they use? Be honest.

The many magic moments. When The Situation ran full speed into a concrete wall in Florence, wearing a shirt that says "HeadRush." Round 2 fisticuffs between Sammi and JWoww (Season 3, episode 1) and a lot more...

And last but not least: We need something to hate. "So bad it's good" has long been a separate category of entertainment, and in that category, "Jersey Shore" was number ONE.
