The Chevrolet Cobalt – Compact & Comfortable

The Chevrolet Cobalt is available as a coupe or a sedan and is a compact vehicle with a better standard fuel economy than other cars in its category. The standard engine is a 2.2 liter inline four cylinder version which is connected to a five-speed manual transmission and produces 155HP. The SS version has a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 260HP power connected to a silent five-speed manual transmission. However, all other models have the option of a four-speed automatic.

The Coupe version offers the best standard highway fuel economy of any other compact coupe and can travel up to a whopping 480 miles on a single tank of gas. More power is available from the optional Ecotec 2.0 liter 1-4 engine. Fuel economy does not suffer at the cost of power.
